About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns and providing insightful financial advice.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and income tax return for individuals, companies, trusts and partnershipsReconcile accounts and manage month-end and year-end processesProvide business advisory services and tax planning strategiesAssist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisMaintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulationsLiaise with clients, ATO and other external stakeholders as required

Qualification / skills

Bachelor degree or higher in accounting or finance fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in public practice or similar roleStrong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standardsProficiency in Accounting softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to details and time management
