The opportunity :

Fantastic opportunity for a Claims expert to make the move into the Compliance space where you will be managing regulatory compliance for the CXO operations and working on various regulatory projects across the business.

This role involves the monitoring, reporting, analysis of various regulatory instruments, predominantly the Life Code of Practice plus working closely with regulators and internal stakeholders.

To do this successfully you will :

  • Monitor regulatory compliance obligations (predominantly the Life Code of Practice), engage with business owners (such as team managers) to ensure compliance is maintained within teams
  • Manage Life Code incident reporting for Claims which includes reviewing claims, liaising with teams as to the cause of breaches and ensuring remediation action is undertaken and completed within agreed timeframes
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulators and bodies such as the Life Code Compliance Committee (LCCC)
  • Maintain Life Code of Practice and other reporting, including contributing the LCCC's Annual Data Compliance Program, LCCC Own Motion Inquiries (Life Code audits) and other reporting as required
  • Complete and deliver monthly and quarterly Code compliance reporting
  • Develop and conduct regulatory compliance training
  • Contribute and assist in drafting responses to the LCCC and other external parties
  • Contribute to customer regulatory projects and change
  • Life Insurance claims is a must
  • Good analytical skills and an attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Experience of, and a good understanding of the Life Insurance regulatory environment including the Life Code of Practice.
