  • Job Description
  • Ensure all areas are adequately staffed to service anticipated business needs.
  • Lead by example with regards to departmental grooming and attitude.
  • Follow and implement all departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists.
  • Assist the Supervisor and Assistant Manager with training and developing Ambassadors.
  • Demonstrate the "Passion for Excellence"

through serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.

  • Ensure all guests are provided with personalised service and that the "Essence of Pleasure" is achieved.
  • Embody the art of French hospitality through a "can do" attitude.
  • Perform tasks within a timely manner.
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of Sofitel Brand Standards.
  • Ensure all Ambassadors are knowledgeable in the type of food and beverages being served each function.
  • Follow up on all guest comments, requests and complaints while informing the Supervisor and Assistant Manager of all such matters.
  • Ensure that the Assistant Manager is aware of all changes, staffing levels and provide suggestions.
  • Maintain the storerooms to ensure tidiness and conduct inventories of glassware, crockery and cutlery.
  • Qualifications
  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Always display a professional appearance, representing our Sofitel brand.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
