  • About the Company

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Division Manager to join one of Australia's leading electrical and mechanical equipment repair specialists. As the Mechanical Division Manager, you will be provided with the responsibility of managing the team of employees that work in the division and overseeing all general duties, accountabilities, workplace health & safety & quality assurances.

  • About the Role
  • Reporting to the Director, this business has an open-door policy and your guidance and opinions will be valued to help the business grow! As the Mechanic Division Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of the workshop in Unanderra. This is a highly crucial role for the business.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, auditors, regulators and management
  • Liaising with the sales team on project completion priorities and ensuring that this is completed within the scheduled timeframe.
  • Managing the performance and development of the workshop team.
  • Ensure all maintenance of plant and equipment are up to date and calibration of equipment in compliance
  • Responsible for maintaining the proper level of safety awareness
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant safety rules, policies, procedures, and accepted work practices (failure to do so may result in disciplinary actions being applied)
  • Skills & Experience
  • Ideally you will have at least 3+ years in a Mechanical Division Manager role with pump experience.
  • 2-3 years in a managerial role
  • Taking direction, being self-motivated and having the ability to follow safety procedures is essential for this role.
  • You must have great communication skills and be able to liaise with key stakeholders in the business.

  • 100% Australian owned and operated business with year-on-year growth and a diverse range of industry clients and provides the sales and service of electrical pumps, motors and gearboxes. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7 : 30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 12pm. Overtime is required from time to time and work is predominantly based on premises although there is an opportunity to work on site occasionally.
