- The Role
We are seeking an experienced and analytical
- Inventory Officer
- to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and optimising inventory processes by analysing, organising, and maintaining key data and information systems. You will also provide valuable insights and policy advice to support operational effectiveness across our organisation and stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data and utilize statistical techniques to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Analyse data to identify trading opportunities, risks, and potential market disruptions.
- Responsible for planning of Knowledge retention strategy which includes management and analysis of processes and policies.
- Responsible for developing inventory reports to provide management with comprehensive data on inventory levels.
- Assist in processing new inventory
- Ensure to implement systems for tracking and managing stock levels with accuracy and precision.
- Generate regular reports, to provide management with comprehensive data on inventory levels.
- Maintain and organise inventory receipts and processed changes to reduce process delays
- Proactively monitor and adjust inventory to maintain high accuracy levels
- Co-ordinate the delivery of information in alignment with business processes and policies through relevant stakeholders to the customers.
- Optimise current strategies, improving business performance, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business (Essential)
- Master of Business Administration (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, and data modelling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
