Ventia is now looking for an experienced Cleaner to join our specialized team working on Defence sites.

  • Hours
  • Monday to Friday from 6AM to 2PM
  • Location
  • This role involves travelling between multiple Defence bases and barracks across the Perth metropolitan area using a company vehicle provided.
  • Duties include, but are not limited to
  • Periodic Cleans : _ This involves tasks such as scrubbing surfaces, remove stains and dirt from carpets, cleaning windows, and performing bio cleans to address specific hygiene needs.
  • Deep Cleans : _ This includes thorough detailing of tiles and bathrooms, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized, and addressing any hard-to-reach areas for a comprehensive clean.
  • What We Need From You

    • Australian citizenship

    Physically fit and able to lift, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods

    Able to operate heavy cleaning machinery

    Pass medical assessment and random drug / alcohol screening

    Hold a valid driver's license

    Experience in deep and periodic cleaning

    EWP ticket and working-at-height experience are _preferred but not essential_

  • Special Conditions_
  • To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to the Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) level._
  • You will also need to provide a 20-year background check for yourself and your family, including travel and criminal history. Additionally, you must hold a valid Australian driver's license and undergo an Australian Federal Police check._
  • If you are hired by Ventia, you will need to obtain and maintain DCAC clearance, which will be initiated by the DBS Security team._
