- About this role
The primary focus of this position is leading the local growth of sales and developing new business sales opportunities for the full range of their Packaging products and services. You will be provided with an existing portfolio of customers and will proactively create new business opportunities in their key markets. A strong focus will be on identifying, developing, and managing relationships and business growth opportunities. The role is autonomous, with full in-person support as required from Management. You will be provided with product and market training, and support for handover of existing accounts.
- Key Duties will include
- Responsible for Territory sales and the development of New Business sales, volume, and profitability.
- Work with your Manager to set agreed Sales targets and devise strategies to achieve targets.
- Manage weekly and monthly reports to the National Sales Manager.
- Pro-actively identify new business opportunities to provide increased sales.
- Manage the profitability of your Sales Territory.
- Manage your stock levels and forecasts with the Procurement team.
- Attend industry trade and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings / seminars.
- Develop multi-level relationships with current and target customers' key staff.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget and ensure all expenses are managed.
- Provide market, industry and competitive analysis and stay informed of competitors in the marketplace.
- Maintain our strong sales culture using your strong interpersonal skills to ensure seamless communication within the Division
- Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2-4 years in a Sales and customer focused role
- At least 2 years in a related industry is desired but not essential.
- Well - developed interpersonal skills.
- Contract negotiation experience.
- Commercial acumen.
- Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to develop and build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
