Your Role

As a Review Paraplanner at William Buck SA, within the Wealth Advisory division, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' financial planning needs.

Key responsibilities and tasks include :

  • Ascertaining data for review of client investment portfolios.
  • Report writing of Statement of Advice and Record of Advice documents including investment

recommendations with a focus on structure and strategy.

  • Assist in implementation of changes to portfolios following regular review process.
  • Update and maintain client data in Xplan
  • Attend to time recording and costing requirements as part of firm’s time costing system.
  • Monitor the completion of work to ensure that it remains within time restraints.
  • Prepare & lodge OFA / FDS / Fee consent applications, ensuring all administrative compliance
  • requirements are met.

  • Be pro-active when dealing with clients by phone or in person, in order to build the client’s trust
  • and confidence in William Buck Wealth Advisors.

  • Background preparation for Partners and Advisors in meetings and account management.
  • About You

  • Relevant degree in Financial Planning, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, or currently pursuing studies in these areas.
  • Sound understanding of Financial Services (essential).
  • 2+ years’ working in a similar position, where providing administrative support was your
  • primary function (essential)

  • Client-focussed, with a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Proficiency using XPlan software
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
