General Labourer (Metal Preparation Worker)

Olympic Industries is a market leader with over 50 years of experience providing products and services throughout Australia.

We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team as Metal Preparation Worker. In this role, your key responsibilities will be the preparation of welding stock for jobs and the operation of bandsaws, overhead cranes, pedestal drill, press punches and power tools.

• To be considered for this role you will possess the following
• Experience in Manufacturing and production environment
• Ability to learn and pick up tasks quickly
• Use of hand tools, bandsaws, pedestal drill, press punch and overhead cranes
• Extremely accurate in measuring
• Good manual dexterity, combining the ability to work in a high-paced production environment
• Motivated and self-driven individual with a willingness to learn
• Punctual, reliable, energetic and physically fit you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug screen
• Hold a current forklift licence - desirable
• Strong commitment to safety and relevant WHS expectations
