- The Opportunity
The Business Support Officer is a multi-faceted role supporting the Fleet Rectification Program across administration, office management, financial support and records management.
You will be providing a high level of business support including including assistance with financial management of the program, record management, record searches, secretarial support, coordinating reports and presentations, tracking tasks and monitoring generic inbox.
Your Key Responsibilities will includeProviding a high level of administrative and secretarial support to the Program Manager including arranging and preparing for meetings, co-ordinating and collating information for reporting purposes, assisting with presentations and ensuring records are managed in accordance with policies and procedures.You will act as secretariat for Program meetings through administrative and clerical support including drafting agenda and associated papers, scheduling meetings, minute taking, tracking and monitoring the status of actions.Support the Program by searching, recording and collating historical records that relate to the Program.Undertake office management duties including procuring office stationery and consumables, answering phones and attending to visitors who arrive onsite.This position requires a flexible and solution focused approach with the ability to balance competing demands and to plan for and deliver specific outcomes within clearly defined time and resource constraints.This role also requires the ability to facilitate improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and to find better ways of doing things to lead this area towards achievement of goals, and perform other duties as directed.Some out of hours work, weekends and travel may be required but this will be pre-arranged.Why You Should Join : _You will be involved in a unique and exciting project which at least 24 months in lengthYou will be working in a self-motivated and fun team who are a great bunch of people to be aroundDiversity and inclusion are valued and the key to success within their organisationThere's no doubt that you will be working for an organisation you will be proud to representThe hourly rate is highly competitive and overtime is offered if there is out of hours workHybrid working and flexibility is also offered, western suburbs is the office location.Skills and AttributesYou will shine in record keeping skills!
