Job summary : Flexible hours available2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this roleExpected salary : $75,000 - $85,000 per year Job Title : Chef (Soup Curry Specialty Restaurant) Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team at a soup curry specialty restaurant. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with soup curry preparation, including spice blending and broth making. A passion for authentic flavors and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities : Prepare and cook soup curry dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards

Assist in developing and improving soup curry flavor profiles

Create and blend spices to match the restaurant's unique curry base

Prepare soup curry broths (dashi) with consistency and accuracy

Ensure all dishes are presented in a clean and appealing manner

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas

Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Support the Head Chef and kitchen team during busy service hours

Help with inventory management and ingredient preparation

Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and contribute to team efforts

Requirements : Experience working in a soup curry restaurant is required

Proven experience in preparing soup curry broth (dashi)

Hands-on experience in spice blending for soup curry dishes

Cutting knowledge more than 15 kings of vegetables

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Team player with a positive attitude

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts

Required Qualifications : Familiarity with Japanese or Hokkaido-style soup curry

Experience with vegetarian or vegan curry options

Culinary training or relevant certifications (not required but a plus)

Basic knife skills and kitchen prep knowledge
