Swick Mining Services
Due to continued company growth, Swick Mining Services are seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Maintenance team in support of our site-based Operations team, the role will be located at various sites within WA.
The Role
- Duties are (but not limited to) the following
- Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on underground Diamond Drilling equipment
- Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on Light Vehicle equipment
- Ensure statutory servicing and testing is completed and service literature is recorded and forwarded to the Maintenance Administrator
- Carry out servicing onsite (surface, underground) and occasionally Perth workshops
- Carry out troubleshooting and faultfinding on Drill Rigs and light vehicle assets
- Communication with both operations and external customers
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed off by relevant parties
- Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts / stock
- Management of costs and quality of repairs being undertaken
- Daily report completion and submission on time
- 2 - 3 years' experience working with Diamond Drill rigs, preferably underground.
- Relevant trade qualification
- Basic Hydraulic diagnostics and Component rebuilds
- Basic automotive electrical diagnostics and component rebuilds
- Current C Class Driver License
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and within a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and time management
