North Melbourne Community Centre is an important community facility, managed by YMCA Victoria in partnership with the City of Melbourne. Our vision for the management of the city of Melbourne facility is to : Actively engage the whole community in diverse and accessible recreation pursuits in safe environments to improve health and social benefits and create a harmonious community. The North Melbourne Community Centre provides opportunities for the local community to be active, regardless of age gender, culture or ability. Our facilities include : Health Club / personal Training, Group Fitness, 1 X Indoor Sports Stadium, Youth Programs, External Grassed Soccer Oval, External Futsal Soccer Pitch, External Small Basketball Court.
As a Swim Teacher at North Melbourne Recreation Centre you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.
This is a casual position and the hourly rate starts at $29.44 + Super.
You will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary. Personal attributes such as patience, respect, and enthusiasm will take you far as a Swim Teacher!
