About the opportunity
Our department will offer you a position for one day / week in a unique women’s and babies hospital environment that is both rewarding and easily manageable as an experienced solo radiographer supported onsite by a department with many sonographers, and offsite by a close-knit group of radiographers who work alternate shifts but can be available remotely for help. We offer grade 2 wages and salary packaging through SMART salary.
Located at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg, you will be required to :
Provide professional Medical Imaging services in the area of neonatal and adult general x-ray, fluoroscopy, mobile and occasional operating theatre radiography
Demonstrate an excellent level of technical ability, knowledge and experience in diagnostic examinations. Neonatal experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to use initiative, be self-directed, flexible and prioritise tasks accordingly
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Grade 2 rates @1 day / week
Permanent part time position must be available Monday or Thursday preferably
Casual dayshift applicants to mostly cover Tuesday and other days occasionally

Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A current Police Record Check and Working With Children Check.
Bachelor of Applied Science, Medical Radiations or Equivalent
Registered with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
Hold User Licence with DHS Victoria
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
