Join to apply for the Dispatch Truck Driver role at G.James Group G.James Safety Glass (Victoria) has commissioned a brand new state of the art "Industry 4.0" automated glass processing facility on our current site in Campbellfield, Melbourne. We are expanding our Dispatch & Delivery team and looking for some friendly, motivated, and experienced MR or HR Truck Drivers to join us!

G.James Glass and Aluminium is Australia's leading integrated glass and aluminium manufacturer and contractor. Our privately-owned family company employs 2000 people with operations throughout Australia.

The Role

Full-time, steady weekday role! Work a reliable 38-hour schedule (Monday–Friday) with an AM shift from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 20 pm—day driving only from our Campbellfield base. Plus, enjoy optional paid overtime opportunities when available—a great way to boost your earnings while maintaining work-life balance!

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport glass products to customers and job sites.Load and unload glass materials with care to prevent damage.Inspect and maintain the truck to ensure safe operation.Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.

About You

Valid MR or HR (manual) license with a clean driving history.Proven truck driving experience, ideally within the glass or manufacturing industry.Experience handling and securing fragile loads is a plus.Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Excellent time management and communication skills.Knowledge of the metropolitan Melbourne area.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol test).
