Our client is a leading equipment distribution company who supply to mining and construction industries throughout Australia is currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their growing team.
The OpportunityAs a result of continued growth our client is seeking to expand their team by engaging an experienced Storeperson. Your primary responsibilities will be to process orders and oversee the cycle of order fulfilment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a range of tasks including the receipt, storage and delivery of product, machinery, spare parts and accessoriesEnsure all incoming goods / materials are appropriately tagged and locatedCarry out activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycleLoading and unloading of goods using a forklift or other manual handling equipmentLiaise with third party freight service providers and schedule pickupsCarry out local pickups / drop-offs of goods and materialsTake steps to avoid quality control issuesParticipate in regular stocktaking and provide status reports to supervisorAssist with locating and labelling of new warehouse bins to accommodate future growth and product / parts holdingsComply with company policies, procedures and guidelines and takes corrective action when necessaryUndertakes other tasks as directed or that may develop due to the changing aspects of the roleMaintain proactive, dynamic and effective communication with customers at all timesEssential CriteriaC class driver's licenceForklift licence (desirable)Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar stores / warehousing roleWillingness to learn and positive approach to changeCustomer focused and is aware of and concerned for the needs of Internal and External Customers and SuppliersExcellent communication and customer service skillsProfessional telephone mannerProficient in using Microsoft OfficeFirst Aid qualifications (desirable)APPLY'or call 08 6365 5416 and speak to Eska Brawley
