Play a Key Role in Supporting Transparent Planning in Queensland

Are you an experienced planning, economics, or policy professional looking to contribute to a high-impact government report? We’re recruiting three Independent Peer Reviewers to help shape one of Queensland’s most important annual publications on growth, housing, and land supply.

Who will you be working with?

You'll be engaged by a Queensland Government-backed body focused on regional planning and land use across South East Queensland. This team is committed to data-driven decision-making and transparency in public reporting, and your review will form a critical part of the final report published for public release. You'll work closely with their internal Growth Monitoring Unit and contribute as an independent voice within a structured and confidential review process.

What will you be doing?

  • Reviewing a major regional Growth Monitoring Report prior to public release
  • Assessing data quality, indicator scope, and report structure
  • Providing written feedback with clear, actionable recommendations
  • Offering insights on industry, policy, and emerging growth issues
  • Contributing from one of three perspectives : academia, industry, or not-for-profit
  • What do you need?

  • Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in planning, economics, research, or policy
  • Demonstrated understanding of housing supply, land use, and growth frameworks
  • Ability to produce clear, professional written recommendations
  • Experience working with complex data or reporting structures
  • Strong ethics, objectivity, and confidentiality
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines (approx. 2-week timeframe)
