Job Description

IT Operational and Project Support

Identifying, assess, monitor and report on cyber security threats, risks and opportunities as they relate to Capricorn;

Deploy, manage and maintain all internal and external facing security systems and their associated components (Check Point Firewall, IPS, Host based firewall, Threat Emulation);

Create, implement and administer AD group policy changes (Implementing and planning), OU structure changes and delegation;

Create, implement and administer the security of Capricorn's cloud platforms;

Identify, evaluate and implement IT security improvements within the end user computing and its associated technologies that ensure the uninterrupted delivery of services to business users whilst supporting corporate developments;

Engage with Capricorn's System Administrators and existing change management processes to develop and roll-out SOE updates and changes for scheduling quarterly revisions;

Contribute to managing hardware refresh cycles to ensure that Capricorn's hardware standards remain consistent and reliable;

Provide third level technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting and training as required;

Contribute to the IT operations functionality by assisting and relieving the IT support personal as required.
