This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. We are looking for a Library Cataloguer to start ASAP for a 3 month contract paying up to $65.44 / hour + Super.

    • The Team you are joining is a high functioning and performing team amongst a leading NSW Government agency. A team of like-minded individuals who thrive to deliver outstanding work to help residents of NSW.

  • About the Role
  • Scanning files to the library database
  • Cataloguing appropriately
  • Some items will already have records to attach the PDF to which will then require the upload and appropriate key word tagging
  • Checking the existing record for any errors and improving search terms
  • Other items will require original cataloguing.
  • About You
  • Library qualifications - either BA Library Information Science, or TAFE Associate Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Experience in original cataloguing
  • Organisational skills, they will need to keep track of which items have been processed and which need follow up
  • Experience working with library systems, FIRST system is a bonus
  • Experience working with Microsoft systems, including Teams
  • Excellent communication skills
