New Childcare Role Available in Oxenford, Gold Coast
We have a new childcare opportunity located in Oxenford, Gold Coast. This position involves caring for four children, ages 3, 5, 7, and 8, and offers a variety of working hours.
- Role Overview
- Childcare for a 3-year-old : Monday and Wednesday from 6 : 30 AM to 6 : 30 PM
- Childcare for 5, 7, and 8-year-olds : Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 9 : 00 AM (paid 3 hours) and 3 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 PM. The days for these shifts rotate. Thursday will be 1 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 PM for the afternoon shift.
This position supports a family where the primary caregiver is undergoing medical treatment and is currently immunocompromised, making mainstream childcare unsuitable.
The children have experienced significant trauma, exhibit complex needs, and face behavioural challenges such as attention difficulties, compulsive habits, and emotional regulation issues. Separation anxiety is prevalent among the children, making it difficult for them to adjust to new environments or caregivers. In Home Care provides the stability and personalized support essential for their well-being and development.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children, has experience managing complex needs, and is available during the specified times. The hours provide a balance of both full-day and part-time work, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexibility.
