  • About The Role

    As our Medical Secretary for the consulting suites you are responsible for providingadministrative support and assistance to patients and their families upon their arrival to theclinic.

    Your Skills and Experience

    • To succeed in this role you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and enjoys being part of a busy environment.
    • The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of multiple doctors appointment dairy phone calls emails etc.
    • You will have strong communication multitasking and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors nurses psychologist administrators clinical and nonclinical staffs.
    • Computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of Programs
    • Attention to detail and understanding of a specialist practice setting Medical Terminology are highly desired though not essential.
    • Coordinate with staff from other departments.
    • Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry billing banking and stationary order
    • Desirable :

    • Demonstrated minimum 1 year experience in a hospital / medical administrative position
    • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
    • Experience ideally Zedmed is highly desired though not essential.
    • Remuneration : On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $32.29 superannuation levels of experience and qualifications.
