Machine Operator

Labourpower Trade are seeking an experienced Machine Operators for full time work in the Can Manufacturing Industry based in Smithfield.

This is a Permanent Placement on a 7 day Rotating Roster - 2 x Day Shift, 2 x Night Shift, 4 x Days off (12 hour shift times).

Our client are a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions - Seeking Machine Operators to operate machinery and product high quality products.

• Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to
• Manufacturing high quality products that comply with specifications
• Trouble shooting - assisting with general maintenance
• Fix minor mechanical problems
• General Machine Operating
• To be successful for this position
• 2 years Machine Operating experience in the manufacturing industry
• MUST have either a Mechanical / technical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively & work under pressure
• Forklift ticket
• ADVANTAGE

MUST be able to pass a full medical, Drug & Alcohol.

Reliability and a Positive "can do" attitude is a must in this role, as our client is currently going through their busy period, and requires attendance and work ethic to be of high calibre.
