Job description
  • Haven't heard of us? Let me break it down for you.
  • We've been a part of the iconic Australian design landscape for over 85 years. Only a few short years after Australian's became happy little Vegemite's, families were spreading their toast in kitchens and on tables made by us.

Now you'll see our products featured on The Design Files, in The Local Project videos and winning praise on 'The Block'. We've come a long way over the past 85 years - and have an even brighter journey ahead of us.

    • Looking for an exciting opportunity to revolutionise workforce planning and reporting? We have the perfect role for you!
    • Join our team as the Workforce Planning & Reporting Transition Lead in this 6-month Fixed-Term role where you will implement and analyse a best-in-class Workforce Management (WFM) digital solution. You'll optimise resources and streamline processes through our cutting-edge Omni platform, supporting our vision of creating an exceptional omnichannel experience for our valued customers.

You will lead ongoing reviews, driving the implementation and continued setup of best-in-class WFM system and approach, truly driving the efficiency of a multi-skilled, multi-layered contact centre. You'll create intuitive dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide actionable insights for improving cost-efficiency and enhancing customer experiences.

Partnering closely with our CX and Digital Insights Manager, National CX Hub Manager, CX Hub Team Leads, and Head of CX and Digital Transformation, you will ensure that our CX Hub Workforce Management systems and processes identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in resourcing requirements.

    • The Nitty Gritty.
    • First and foremost, we are looking for people with experience in operational-based workforce planning roles and experience in implementing a Workforce Management (WFM) system. Additionally experience in budgeting and forecasting workforce planning requirements, employing bottom-up methodologies across various customer experience (CX) and Omni channels is highly desirable.

We would love for you to showcase your expertise in improving overall efficiency through process simplification and identifying standardisation opportunities.

Just to be a little pickier, proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and a Business Intelligence (BI) platform such as Qlik sense or PowerBI would be amazing as you will be utilising these tools to analyse and interpret data. Advanced analytical and modelling skills are also key, as you will be tasked with linking data to business problems and providing valuable insights. If you have experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and / or Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), that would be a significant advantage.

    • Yeah, but what's in it for you? Let us tell you what we will offer.
    • At Laminex, we prioritize our people by offering support and flexibility through initiatives such as Live Workplace TV, Top Talent programs, and Work from Anywhere. We believe in work-life balance and have been recognized as one of Australia's "Best Places to Work" for two years in a row.

Our commitment to employee growth is reflected in our extensive training programs with over 600 online learning modules available at any time. As an Equal Opportunity Employer with an innovative and inclusive culture, we offer one of the best parental leave policies in Australia.

    • Ready to join our team and make your day better? We can't wait to have you!
