Job descriptionDuties Participate in day-to-day operational duties including : accounts processing, creation of suppliers, customer service, reconciliations, corrections and records management to ensure the departments financial responsibilities and obligations are addressed in a satisfactory manner. Support customers to meet and exceed expectations, identify and escalate issues. Build rapport and maintain internal and external relationships, respond to enquiries, provide straightforward advice. Maintain awareness of Commonwealth financial compliance and legislative frameworks specific to role. Manage prioritisation of own workloads checking accuracy of information and work, ensuring quality processing of large volumes of accounts. Contribute to team goals and objectives, understand contribution to team outcomes and contribute to a supportive and cooperative team environment. Use financial management and business systems to capture, research, analyse and reconcile data Perform other duties in the Financial Operations section as required, including provision of operational and administrative support and advice to Team Leaders. Salary Range : $76,696 - $81,802 + Attractive Superannuation

The available positions are within the Financial Operations section, which is in the Chief Financial Officer Division. The Section consists of around 50 staff responsible for managing a broad range of DVA's financials, including banking, treasury, accounts payable and receivable, travel and credit cards and accounts processing, a separate function from account payable.
This recruitment process is being used to fill an ongoing position.
A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for a specified term of up to 18 months. A specified term may be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years.
