Role Detail Joining our dynamic IT team, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, data centre, and cloud environments. You'll manage and support critical platforms such as firewalls, routers, switches, SD-WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

In addition to network operations, you'll drive security initiatives by enforcing policies, monitoring threats via SIEM tools, supporting audits and compliance, and conducting vulnerability assessments. Collaboration is central to this role, requiring close coordination with system admins, developers, and support teams, especially during critical incidents.

Reporting to the Network Manager, with a balanced approach to WFH, you will be responsible for the design, planning, management and support of the firm's network infrastructure and security architecture.

The role is crucial in ensuring the stability, integrity and security of enterprise network services and data.

With access to the latest technology, this role has a mix of solution design, operational support, project management and service management. You will ensure optimum functionality and availability of all network and communication services and effectively provide day to day operational support to the business.

With your proactive approach to collaboration and change initiatives, you will also bring :

Experience implementing and managing network security platforms such as firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPN and network segmentation tools such as VMware NSXIn-depth knowledge of TCP / IP, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NATExperience designing, implementing and supporting network and security solutions across data centres, remote sites and cloud infrastructures10+ years hands-on experience in network and security technologyExperience implementing and supporting Cisco routing and switching technologiesFamiliarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001) and compliance standardsExperience with network management and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion and SIEM platforms such as ElasticExperience implementing and supporting Wi-Fi and CCTV platformsExperience supporting Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365 environmentExperience with SASE / ZTNA solutions will be looked on favourablyFlexibility for after-hours support and weekend work may be required from time to time.
