Production Workers Full-Time Australian ManufacturerFactory Production Worker – Ceramic Tile Manufacturing (Full-Time) We are looking for 'can-do' people who want to join our production team in a ceramic tile decoration factory right here in Melbourne! Southern Cross Ceramics is an Australian company who are committed to Australian manufacturing and Australian jobs. And we need people who love machinery, are 'hands-on', can follow processes and are committed to work. This is your opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast-paced team where you'll learn new skills, work with machinery, and contribute to creating beautiful locally made products with exceptional quality.

About the Role This is a full-time, hands-on production role with training provided across several areas, including :

  • Ceramic tile printing
  • Packing and quality checks
  • Tile cutting
  • Warehouse logistics

Salary & Conditions

  • Full-time position under the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020
  • Shifts rotate weekly between :
  • Day Shift : 5 : 00 am – 1 : 15 pm
  • Hourly rate : $27.00 – $30.00, commensurate with skills and experience
  • Overtime and penalty rates paid in line with Award conditions

  • Safety-conscious and follow procedures without compromise
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work
  • Mechanically minded and enjoy working with machines
  • Comfortable with physical work in a production environment
  • Strong communicators who follow instructions carefully
  • Positive, "can-do" attitude with a strong work ethic

    • Previous factory, trade, or mechanical experience is highly regarded, but full training is provided for the right applicant. A forklift licence is desirable but not essential
