THE ROLE
Exciting Role! Support at-risk youth in achieving housing stability_in this evidence-based program. Guide practitioners across the South and East Division of Victoria on tenancy best practices and other specialist youth practice frameworks. Build key partnerships with landlords & support agencies. Develop personalised tenancy support plans. Join our passionate team!Specialise in At-Risk Tenancy SupportProvide expert guidance to Youth Housing First practitioners on strategies to prevent and address housing instability.Direct InterventionWork closely with practitioners and housing providers to proactively support young people facing tenancy challenges.Build Strong Community PartnershipsDevelop and maintain crucial relationships with landlords, real estate agents, and other support services to increase housing opportunities for program participants.Individualised Tenancy Support PlansCollaborate with practitioners to create personalised tenancy support goals for each young person, ensuring their Housing First Support Plan addresses individual needs and risks.Increase Housing StabilityContribute significantly to the success of the Youth Housing First program by helping young people achieve and maintain long-term stable housing.Deep Expertise in Youth Homelessness & Out-of-Home CareAn in-depth knowledge of the unique challenges and support needs of young people experiencing homelessness, particularly those transitioning from out-of-home care. This includes an understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and service providers within these sectors.Housing Market Proficiency & Housing First ApproachProven ability to navigate the housing market effectively, with strong relationships within the housing sector.
