Fitter (South Brisbane)

This role offers a base hourly salary + allowances with regular reviews aligning to competency / performance, qualifications / experience, and years of service milestones.

You will work across a rostered 38-hour week with occasional overtime - which includes working overtime on weekends when requested.

• Day to day
• Attending customer sites for breakdowns, diagnosing problems and fixing them; you will work around all areas of the service station;
• General maintenance of products, changing equipment and making minor adjustments as needed to the pump, nozzle and any other product part;
• Working safely on the customer site, acting as a representative of Gilbarco Veeder - Root to customers.
• Qualifications & your experience
• 1 year demonstrated Fitter / Field Service Technician experience preferred
• Trade qualification - Electrical or Mechanical Fitting trade preferred but not mandatory
• Unrestricted Australian drivers' licence;
• Technically minded, pro-active, fault finder, who enjoys working with their hands
• Proven ability to provide service delivery that is customer focused, flexible and adaptable;
• High level attention to detail;
• Strong prioritisation, organisational and time management skills;
• Efficient PC and / or Tablet skills;
• Petroleum or Service based industry experience would be desirable.
