We currently have two full-time Accounts Officer roles available (1 x 12 month Contract, 1 x Permanent) which we are looking forward to welcoming into our Finance Team.

  • About the Role

We are looking for dynamic and innovative Finance professionals to join the ICC Sydney Finance team that are driven to achieve results in the role of Accounts Officer. In the role of Accounts Officer you will assist with the daily operations and strategic objectives of all the company's accounting function through the implementation and maintenance of business functions and procedures of finance department.

You will play a key role in assisting with the accurate financial, taxation and management reporting. Including but not limited to the monitor, process and reconcile payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, cheques, refund requisitions etc., in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

You will be of a curious mind, comfortable in a fast paced and challenging environment and have the ability to work as a true team player.

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor qualification in accounting or business discipline.
  • Qualified accountant (CPA or CA), or working towards CA / CPA qualification
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of proper accounting treatment for all receivable / payable transactions and activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Additionally, you will have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, a demonstrated commitment to your career and the desire to be part of one of the largest and most innovative events business's in Australia. To succeed, you will have a passion for getting results, be resilient with strong service attitude, and well developed and polished communication skills.
