Commercial Cleaner

French Tarts Wholesale bakery is looking for a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team 4 afternoons a week from 2pm - 6pm (flexible hours if later start time is preferable).

• Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bakery premises, including the production area, storage rooms and fridges.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors to ensure a safe and tidy work environment.
• Clean and sanitize baking equipment, machinery, and surfaces to meet food safety standards.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in an appropriate manner.
• Ensure that bakery windows are spotless and presentable.
• Collaborate with bakery staff to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management promptly.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within the given timeframe.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift / move cleaning supplies as required.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with the bakery team.
