2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from ThirriwirriLeadership | Coaching | Education | Team Effectiveness Principal – Policy, Governance & StrategyPurpose of the RoleTo lead high-impact projects focused on strategy development, governance reform and policy design with and for First Nations organisations and partners.This role requires the ability to navigate complexity, and strong facilitation skills to lead teams and stakeholders through co-design, strategy and change.Core ResponsibilitiesLead governance, policy and strategy projects from scoping through to delivery.Build trust and relationships with clients across government, community, and corporate sectors.Design and facilitate high-quality workshops with diverse stakeholders.Design and deliver project plans, stakeholder engagement, and outcomes frameworksSupport client capability uplift, mentoring and coaching, and codifying what works.Contribute to business development and project planning alongside the CEO and strategic advisors.What You BringStrong cultural intelligence and understanding of First Nations cultural protocols, values, and lived realities.Strong skills and experience in strategy, policy reform, or governance - ideally across multiple sectors.Confident facilitation skills with experience leading cross-cultural conversations, executive workshops, large stakeholder meetings, and emceeing eventsFamiliarity with adaptive leadership, co-design or systems change approaches.Track record delivering complex projects across its lifecycle from inception to evaluationExperience working in or alongside Aboriginal organisations or communities.Confidence working in ambiguity and adapting to client context.Excellent strategic writing and verbal communication skills (e.g.
briefings, discussion papers, strategy docs).Additional informationThese are First Nations identified roles.
