About the Opportunity :
Presented is a unique opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join this dynamic and innovative manufacturing business during an exciting phase of growth. This challenging opportunity has direct responsibility for a multi-site Operations Team in QLD and NSW including the manufacturing facility in Brisbane.
Reporting to the General Manager this role manages the operations functions across multiple sites to optimise the use of resources, ensuring cost effectiveness, production quality control, safety, procurement, warehousing, logistics and service standards. You will be directly responsible for ensuring maximum operational efficiency and continuous improvement of all operations, employees and systems. As a senior member of the leadership team, you will also interact with key internal and external decision makers, requiring well developed technical competency and business acumen.
About You :
Ambitious and seeking a role where you can be effective, your personal qualities should encompass proven leadership ability, relationship building and influencing skills. Above all, you will be an excellent communicator, energetic, self-managed and appreciate the challenge and opportunity this position and company can provide.
Degree qualifications (Engineering) supported by technical competency, sound commercial acumen will be highly regarded.Previous high-level operations experience in batch manufacturing environments could include Chemicals, Food or Industrial Products industries and experience implementing Continuous Improvement strategies is essential.
