- Duties and Responsibilities of this role will include
- Providing assistance to clients with their daily living tasks
- Assistance with their mobility, transfers and use of hoist
- Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and assistance with personal hygiene
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Arranging social activities and community access
- Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
- Documenting services provided, incidents and completing reports as required
- Has a valid Police Check (Essential)
- Personal Care Experience (Essential)
- Domestic Care Experience (Essential)
- Community Access Experience (Essential)
- Tracheostomy Care Experience (Essential)
- Peg feeding Experience (Essential)
- Catheter Care Experience (Essential)
- Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent (Desirable)
- Current Driver's Licence (Essential)
- Current First Aid Certificate
