Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, permanent role responsible for effectively managing the maintenance team, coordinating repairs and maintenance of in-field forest machinery and modern fleet vehicles.

This role ensures repairs and preventative maintenance are performed efficiently, adhering to heavy vehicle road transport requirements, while minimizing downtime to maintain operational schedules.

The successful candidate will be experienced, professional, motivated, and possess a mature approach to all aspects of this role.

A company vehicle will be supplied, along with a generous salary to be negotiated.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Collaborate and communicate effectively with your maintenance team, truck drivers, and machine operators. Maintain service schedules and fault reporting. Prioritize safety for in-field and workshop maintenance. Participate in skill and knowledge sharing, especially mentoring apprentice team members. Be available on-call on a rotating roster for breakdown repairs. Develop relationships with external service providers and suppliers, maintaining high customer service standards. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES : Experience with in-field forest machinery is desirable. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
