First Aid Officer
Part-time (2 days / week) fixed term (leave replacement) position
Chairo Christian School is a growing non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.
Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.
We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated First Aid & Student Administration Officer to work at our Pakenham campus, commencing in Term 3 this year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and assist with all aspects of student reception, as well as providing support for a range of general office administration tasks, throughout the week.
Some key responsibilities will include the following :
- Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
- Providing first aid and dispensing medications to students as required
- Providing support to the school community through the smooth running of the sickbay
- Ensuring a safe and positive environment so that students can feel they are cared for
- Dealing with parent, student and medical / first aid queries and requests
- Ensuring all first aid and medical requirements are met for camps and excursions
The successful candidate will also possess the following important characteristics :
