This is a Permanent Full Time Role. Typical hours during the school term will be 7am-11am and 2 : 24pm-6 : 00pm.
You will be supported by not only the Practice Manager but by a team of CatholicCare Coordinators and provided with professional development opportunities.
- Duties
- Being the Nominated Supervisor and leading staff in the provision of a high quality OSHC service
- Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
- Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required.
- Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service, provide guidance, and support to the team on best practice programming.
- Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.
- Requirements
- Qualifications (Diploma Level or working towards) in Outside School Hours Care or Children Services
- Skills and experience in team leadership
- Have completed CHCPRT001 - Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework as it applies to Outside School Hours Care;
- Hold a current First Aid certification and CPR certification including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
- Have a current and valid Working with Children Check
