Location Canberra, ACT Contract Duration 12 Months + 2 Terms of 12 Months Mandatory Requirements Must have an NV1 Selection Criteria Response Role Overview Key Responsibilities Advise business units on key controls, risk management, and compliance. Evaluate organisational processes and controls for risk and assurance. Collaborate with 1st and 3rd Line of Defence stakeholders on risk and compliance activities. Coordinate cross-functional assurance tasks and monitor controls testing. Document tasks in the agency's Risk and Compliance Management System. Report assurance activities to senior leadership. Build and maintain relationships within the Cyber Security and Networks Branch. Essential Requirements Familiarity with the Information Security Manual, ACSC Essential Eight Maturity Model, and industry cyber security frameworks. Experience in information security audit, assurance, and compliance. Desirable Tertiary education and certifications like Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in information security and ICT assurance.
