What we’re looking for :

We are currently on the hunt for an enthusiastic and customer focused young gun to join our legendary team at Mount Isa! This is a unique opportunity for someone who is keen to work in a varied role with superb interpersonal skills and a passion for dealing with people, looking to progress their career and develop their skills as an all-rounder working with a reputable industry leader.

Your new role

• You will be responsible for providing efficient and exceptional customer service to our large and varied customer base. Your key responsibilities include :
• Receiving goods from suppliers, ensuring they are undamaged and match the orders placed
• Stock administration, including entering new stock on computer register and coding goods
• Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries
• Actioning customer requests and enquiries face-to-face, over the phone and via email.
• Completion of cyclic stock takes and rotating stock
• Stocking shelves ensuring the safe storage of goods
• Picking and packing orders that are due to be dispatched to customers
• Ensuring goods are delivered to customers on time, undamaged, and obtaining signatures as proof of delivery
• Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Some order processing, invoicing, and inventory control.
• Understanding and observing standard safety and security precautions
• This is a full-time permanent role based in Mount Isa, Queensland. Work hours are regular business hours. Monday to Friday.

• You’re a driven and passionate professional with proven experience working in a customer facing role.
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy meeting people, rather than being locked behind a computer in an office.
• Be excellent at managing your own time and a real ‘self-starter’; you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.
• Be more than happy to move around on your feet all day – this role can be physically demanding at times and require someone fit with a “can-do” attitude!
• Work well in a team – we recognise that our staff are our greatest asset and maintain a positive working environment is non-negotiable.
• Hardworking and motivated to learn and grow within a company.
• High attention to detail, you notice mistakes and errors quickly.
• Have a current driver’s license.
• Full Australian working rights – meaning you are an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident.
