  • Our school offers private and group (up to 5 students) Singing and Instrumental lessons. Our goal is to teach practical and engaging techniques and repertoire, so that students always enjoy the music they are learning and progress quickly._
  • We are looking for fun, nurturing, and passionate teachers who LOVE working with children and seeing them grow!
  • As a Teacher at Melodic Minds Music School,
  • you will have the opportunity to help students share in your love of music, whilst being supported in a fun, safe and creative environment! Our teachers are provided with the training and support needed to flourish as an educator, as well as the independence to explore your own styles and methods.

    • Many of our students have varying learning, cognitive and behavioral levels and are supported by the NDIS. It is extremely important to us that these students are supported by the right teachers who are compassionate, encouraging and empathetic.

    It is essential you are comfortable with teaching in group settings and can manage up to 5 students in a lesson.

    • MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Teaching music lessons in groups (up to 5) and private settings
    • Light administration of taking attendance and lesson notes each week
    • Building a strong rapport with students and families
    • Ensure lessons are fun and engaging!
    • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
    • Enable all students to progress through their musical journey
    • Preparing students for performances
    • Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs, musical interests and abilities
    • Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students
    • Always have a nurturing and encouraging approach towards students
    • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

      • Intermediate Skill Level on Instrument - teaching experience not required!!

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Passion for your instrument and music education
    • Highly Reliable and Punctual
    • Loves working with children and making learning fun!
    • Current Working with Children check_
