This position is located in multiple locations across Australia and offered a "Work from Home" opportunity.

What will you do?

Support the development of policy and legislation, particularly related to the imposition of levies and the collection and disbursement of levy funds.

Support the preparation of drafting instructions for the Office of Parliamentary Counsel to prepare the new legislative framework

Reviewing existing legislation and historical levies policies to shape the new legislative framework

Supporting the legislation exposure and introduction processes

Supporting the preparation of reports and policy discussion papers for review

Liaising with other policy, regulatory and operational areas in the department and across government.

Knowledge and experience

Experience or exposure to legislative reform and legislation development is highly desirable.

Experience or exposure to large government reforms or policy development.

Please note

If you are successful in this position you will need to be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
