Seeking an organised and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to produce Electronic Program Guides (EPGs) for Sky News Australia.

Seeking an organised and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to produce Electronic Program Guides (EPGs) for Sky News Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the creation and delivery of accurate and timely EPGs and transmission schedules for multiple Sky News platforms (including Sky News, Fox Sports News, Sky UK, Fox News, Sky News Regional, and Sky News Weather). Develop and maintain short and long-term programming guides, including forecasting schedules up to two months in advance. Create and distribute daily break structure files, incorporating program details, media IDs, segment information, and commercial placements. Oversee the scheduling and implementation of promotional content within daily broadcasts, supporting overall promotional strategies. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including MediaHub, Ai-Media, Foxtel Media, News Exchange, producers, and editors) to ensure seamless program delivery and accurate reporting. Adapt to the dynamic nature of live news by implementing same-day schedule and promo amendments as required. Manage captioning schedules effectively, balancing cost-efficiency with viewer accessibility.

Who are you?

Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong understanding of broadcast operations and scheduling. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced live news environment. Experience with EPG creation, scheduling software, and media asset management systems (highly desirable). Proactive approach to problem-solving. Commitment to delivering high-quality output.
