Production Manager

RMA Hallam is a spacious, well-maintained workshop that specializes in a wide range of repairs, from small jobs to large-scale projects. Our friendly team of 9 consists of experienced, long-standing members, as well as newer team members. We are fully equipped with cutting-edge technology, including 2 spray booths and Car-O-Liner systems.

Our team collaborates to deliver high-quality repairs for our customers. The location is easily accessible, with ample staff parking available on-site.

The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop / Production Manager to join the team at RMA Hallam.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the workshop, adherence to repair methods, following estimates, and maintaining quality standards.

Role responsibilities Ensure the site remains a safe working environment for all staff Process vehicles upon arrival Assist with the ordering and receipting of parts, paint, and consumables Manage the repair process to ensure timely, cost-effective, quality repairs Manage the production of the site to meet productivity targets and customer expectations Assist in managing the site to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction Oversee workshop housekeeping Does this sound like you? Previous management experience within the collision repair industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to meet deadlines Problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and task delegation Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to motivate and manage a team Commitment to safety Reliability, punctuality, and hard work We understand that non-standard work hours may be necessary, and we are open to discussing flexible options for this role or similar roles within our business.
