Your opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the nursing team at the St George Hospital. St George is located 6 hours from Brisbane and 2 hours from Roma.

The RN demonstrates competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparations, relevant legislation and context of care.

The registered nurse practices independently and interdependently and assumes accountability and responsibility for own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurse, assistants in nursing and healthcare workers.

St George is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include :

  • An annual isolation bonus paid annually!
  • Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave!
  • Additional annual leave per annum!
