- About the role
As a Contract Administration Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project team with high-level administration tasks. Your responsibilities will include :
Delivering assigned work in alignment with departmental policy and processes.Assisting the RIDO procurement team with 3PCM support, creating contracts, and entering tender and variation details for financial approval.Supporting internal contract managers with processes such as contractor performance plans and other contract management documentation.Providing day-to-day administrative support to the project team to assist in achieving objectives.Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adequate outcomes of assigned duties.Actively contributing to effective team operation and participating in performance conversations to foster a culture of performance improvement.Acting in accordance with the Queensland Public Service legislative framework and Code of Conduct, modeling ethical behavior consistently.Committing to Transport and Main Roads' Workplace Health & Safety Policy of achieving a Zero Harm workplace.Undertaking other accountabilities within the RIDO team as directed.About YouTo thrive in this role, you need :
Proven experience in contract administration, procurement support, or related roles.relevant tertiary qualification and / or experience in working in a major infrastructure project environment would be highly desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Commitment to ethical conduct and workplace safety.Familiarity with the Queensland Public Service legislative framework is advantageous.Must have full working rights in Australia.Be able to pass and hold national police check.
