Job descriptionRemuneration SCHADS Award Home Care Worker Casual Qualifications & experience Minimum Certificate III Disability, Individual Support or equivalent COVID19 Vaccination NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) Working with Children Check (Blue Card - P) National Police Check Current First Aid and CPR Certificates Current Australian Drivers Licence Roadworthy, registered, and insured vehicle Excellent communication skills NDIS Worker Orientation Module Department of Health COVID-19 Infection Control Module Highly Desirable Manual Handling experience including hoisting Midazolam and Epilepsy Management Experience working with people with Dementia Care Experience working with people with diabetes Tasks & responsibilities Assistance with personal care tasks to support health, hygiene and well being Supporting clients to access the community for shopping or to attend medical / other appointments A range of household tasks including, meal preparation, light domestic assistance, shopping Social Support to get out and about and access community activities Companionship Benefits Paid Kilometres between visits Dedicated office-based support team which includes after-hours support Open door policy, we are here to support YOU! Monthly team meetings over Zoom (office time paid to attend) Ongoing professional development Shift flexibility and working arrangements
