The candidate will be able to feedback operational best practices to the engineering team, from his or her experience when manufacturing the tool.Build and assemble tools, including specialized thermite heatersTake responsibility for planning own work to meet production and schedule requirements.Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of any manufacturing issues based on understanding of BiSN melting alloy technology, and downhole thermite heater technology.Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.Keep production logs and maintain inventory of job materials.Contribute to operation's and assembly manual contentContribute to design reviews, proposing feedback based on operational experienceComplete JSA's and HIR to company standardsKeep clean equipment and work areasContributes to the workplace improvement in terms of HSE and 5sSkills & RequirementsExperience as a Manufacturing Technician a strong plusKnowledge and practice of 5s principlesRead and understand engineering drawings and processesStrong HSE ethicsSelf-starter and self-motivated, ability to mentor other less senior techniciansAbility to work in a dynamic team environmentExcellent organizational and verbal / written communication skillsWorking knowledge of general laboratory / manufacturing safety & record keepingGood mathematical skill is essential and the ability to manipulate mathematical data and convert between units of measure
