- Executive Manager - Science Engagement

The Executive Manager is responsible for establishing and fostering strategic relationships between Information Management and Technology (IMT) and Impact Science business units, and National Facilities and Collections. They play a role in helping shape and influence the organisation's Digital and Data strategies, and to represent BU strategic priorities into IMT programs, directions, and forward plans. They lead the team in supporting BU technology strategy development, solution discovery, and technology risk management. The team supports organisational data management practices and contributes to a range of activities to effectively support the management of research data throughout its lifecycle. As leader of this function, you'll play a key role in shaping CSIRO's use of data and digital approaches as a strategic asset.
The group consists of two teams :
- Research Data Services
- Digital Solutions Advisory
The Executive Manager - Science Engagement is a member of several leadership teams within IMT, and CSIRO's Science Digital Transformation initiative. This role will collaborate with peers and senior executives in the delivery of 'business-as-usual' IMT services, CSIRO's strategic direction and realisation of transformational change for the organisation.

- Establish and maintain a capability profile - attracting, developing and retaining high performing talent which will meet current and future needs of the team

- Monitor financial, people and project performance as appropriate.
- Lead the long-term planning for future services delivered by the Science Engagement group.
