About the role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor at our Townsville Depot, this exciting role is for an experienced Driver eager to pursue a career as a semi-crane truck driver and take on responsibilities as a leading hand for our new Rockhampton operation. You will primarily be responsible for operating a HC crane truck and will undertake Leading Hand duties as required. Full training and support will be provided.

Your key responsibilities will include :

• Perform daily driving duties to meet contract requirements
• Maintain and organise the depot yard to a high standard
• Organise stock, tools, and consumables, and conduct monthly stocktakes
• Conduct yard inspections and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
• Manage slings, chains, and straps to required levels
• Support drivers in vehicle inspections and report mechanical faults and safety issues as per company and industry standards
• Complete and forward all paperwork to Townsville operations daily

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

About you

We are seeking experienced Drivers or Leading Hands, or those who have worked in similar roles. An interest in the transport industry is essential. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
