  • About the role
  • As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the full management of the FOH team ensuring exceptional service is delivered.

    • Responsibilities will include
    • Overseeing and managing daily front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
    • Train, develop, and mentor front-of-house staff to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and camaraderie among staff members.
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff.
    • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with grace and efficiency, aiming to exceed expectations and resolve any issues promptly.
    • Manage and optimise the reservation systems, seating plans, and waitlist management to maximise restaurant capacity and revenue.
    • Monitor inventory and supplies related to front-of-house operations, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained and minimising waste.
    • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
    • Plan and execute special events and promotions to enhance the restaurant's appeal and attract new clientele.
    • About you
    • We are looking for someone that is passionate about delivering the ultimate experience to our team and guests. Equally you will be passionate about hospitality and have at least 2 years experience in FOH management in a premium casual dining restaurant.

      In addition, the successful applicant will need to have the following but not limited to :

    • Understanding of financials, reports & budgets
    • Strong time management skills & attention to detail
    • Sound knowledge in cocktails, wine & beverage production
    • Passion and professionalism in delivering quality service
    • Excellent grooming & presentation, reliable with a friendly attitude and great smile!
    • The ability to lead a brigade to the level of standard expected
    • Administrational Skills
    • Pay : $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
