Forklift Driver

ACUG, a leading logistics and supply chain company, is excited to offer an excellent compensation package for the Forklift Operator position with our new client in Heathwood. As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of $30.93. Additionally, you will be eligible for penalty rates for any overtime hours worked, ensuring fair and rewarding remuneration for your dedication and hard work.

• Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying their accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
• Organize and stack products in designated storage areas, optimizing warehouse space.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to fulfill orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct routine inspections of the forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist in other general warehouse duties as required to support the overall operations.
• Requirements
• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, safety practices, and material handling procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and maintaining records.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, adapting to changing priorities and demanding schedules.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required by the client's needs.
